A couple of my fish are showing signs of ick. I have read that heat alone can kill ick so I have slowly started raising my water temperature.
I need advice on my plants. If I raise the temperature up to 88-90 should I take off my CO2? Everything I have read says to add a airstone so wouldn't that defeat the purpose of CO2? I will add salt if there are no signs of improvement but I wanted to try heat first.
I truly believe the ick came from a plant, it's the only thing I have added in the last couple of weeks.
Any help would be appreciated. All my plants have done so great thanks to the advice here. I don't want to kill them or my fish.
