More Angels or Reduce to 1?

I have a 75gal peaceful community that includes a couple of really nice large marbled Angels but as they've matured, they're like a lot of married couples and fight more and more. I've seperated them, putting 1 into a 5 gal tank yesterday because their constant fighting is getting out of control (Small tank, I know - I'm not happy about it either, but it's a filtered, heated tank - had to kick my Betta out, but he'll be OK for a day or 2).

I need to decide today. Do I take the 1 back to my LFS or would adding 4 more help the situation? Would prefer to add a few more, but don't want to make it worse. Also - if adding, can I put small ones in with the larger ones?

Community Citizens:
6" rock eater
4" Roseline shark
3 Rainbows (1-3", 2- 4")
2 cory's
2 SAE's
22 various tetras/rasboras
2 dwarf gouramis
2 (now 1) 5" angels
3 Hatchets (not sure where the other 3 went - never found even a trace of them!)

Would appreciate some expert advise!
Cathy

I'm in the same situation, I bought 2 over a month ago, and one just beats the other up so bad. So I added 2 more, smaller, this weekend, and he still beats up the other and completely ignores the new ones. If you live near hermitage you can come pick up 3 for free:)

Hi! I have 4 angels total now in my 75 G. There is still some fighting, but they have distributed it among them selves better than they were. i had 2, & then I got 2 more. At first, one of the newer ones was picking on the other new one & one of the originals, but now they all kind of just pick on each other from time to time. No bad damage, though, just some nipping.
It's really up to you. Do you want to have just the one, or do you want to have more, and just know that there will be some disagreements in the tank?

I can handle the "disagreements" - Just don't want them to mame each other and scare the other fish to death. But I DO love them! Leaning towards trying adding a few. Any thoughts on the size?

If you have a pair that developed, they will become more agressive and might kill off the rest. Adding more to the tank with an agressive pair is kind of asking for problems, but if you do add, go with the smaller size and add more cover.
I had that problem before, didn't end well for the rest of the angels.
