View Full Version : Will the Ario 4 work in my tank?

OK, so the rating for the Ario 4 is: 20-50gph - 20" - 40-80g.

Is this to say that it wouldn't work with my tank that is: 24" - 90g?

If not, why? Or if it will, will it just be a weaker flow rate?

looks to me is just a power head with a air intake. most air pumps go by go by gallons because they can only push down with so much pressure. deeper down the more powerful the pump needs to get it down there.

as for that i think its just sucking air using the power head. should be fine in the extra 4inch of water. besides most tanks dont need air pumps anyways.
