So common.
Looks like Eurythoe spp. --bristleworm, or a very similar one. They are harmless and actually benefit the tank. I'd leave 'em be.
Ace, is that your photo? That's the first time I've seen a full worm. They're always just sticking their tips out of rock or the sand in my tank. Good shot, regardless.
Ya, thats my photo I took a few days ago. That is the only worm I have ever seen in my tank in 5+ years.. but it has grown and grown and is now probably 10" long and as thick as a pencil. I have seen it eat 1/2 a cube of food at once, like a snake unlocking its jaws and swallowing it. It roams out in the open all the time now.. no one dares to go after it, not even my Sally Lightfoot.

They are oogy looking. I've only gotten stuck by their bristles once before. Nothing major, but some minor discomfort for a few hours.
