I have a freshwater turtle that I want to provide an improved basking area. I have one of the floating ones, but IMO it's not sufficient. So after looking around and seeing some great example, I plan on building one in the near future. At this time my main building component will be Corian. Plan on using a basic design that will similar to a picture frame by adding plates of glass on all four sides to maximize viewing area. Sealing the joints will be with silicone or other aquarium safe product.
As to the question.
1) Anything non fish friendly about Corian that I should know about?
