Is poland spring water ok to use in planted tanks or does it lack something that regular treated tap water doesn't?

Thanks!

I would say no personally plus isn't poland springs just tap water ran through a filter? If your going to go that route just get a ro system save you some cash in the long run

It's just a 12g here at work. Not really worth setting up a RO system. The water quality here sucks though, that's why I ask.

youd be almost better grabbing ro water from your lfs and throwing equalibrum by seachem...you can always test poland springs water vs your tap but if your go bottled I suggest equalibrum

yes, but it says that stuff makes the water harder! If my water gets any harder it's going to be a solid instead of a liquid!

Bottom line is it's spring water so use your test kit on it and see where it's at. It may be filtered but whats wrong with that?
You could drink the spring water and then just refill the jugs with your own tap water and treat it in the jug before you bring it to work... unless of course it's the same water
