So i bought a somewhat small Atlantic anemone today at the LFS and I wasn't expecting my maroons to host it because its just an Atlantic nem, but i get it home and within an hour they are all over it, wriggling about and hovering in it. Am i mistaking something else for hosting? Neither the nem nor the clowns seem to be getting injured from this

Its very possible they are trying to host in this...Clowns can be very unpredictable sometimes what they will host in..So, its certainly not un-heard of...Good deal, i say !!!

It is less likely to happen than with other anemones.. and some reason I see more Maroon's hosting with Atlantics than any other type of clown.. Here is mine. Jumped right into my anemone within 10 minutes of placing the anemone in the tank... 5 years ago.
