Hi,
I just recently got a golden inca snail and put it into my partially planted tank. The tank was actually fully planted before he went in there, but he has eaten a large portion of the plants. He'll eat most of a large lettuce leaf in a single day. I've even seen him floating around on the top of the water trying to get to the floating plants.
Does anyone know what kind of plants this snail wont eat? I'd like to replant some of the tank. He is known to eat amazon sword and a crypt plant is just a quick snack.
Please help.
thanks
:)

Try plastic. The plant-eating Apple snails leave nothing uneaten. Maybe the heavy-leaf Anubias, but that would be an expensive test.
