white spot on top of fish's head

I have a brand new white spot about the size of a grain of rice on a guppy's head, it is very white, not cottony at all, thought maybe an injury, cuz it is eating, swimming not acting sickly

i put melafix in just a few mins ago, now i wonder if i should use ick medicine just in case, and if so, will it hurt to be in water with the melafix?

just not sure what it is, looked at books, but ick isn't usually so dense as the spot seems, (had an Oscar with a heck of a case few years ago) might be a fungus, but cant find pics like it.

any suggestions, can i use other medicines in concert with melafix, or each other?

my fish was found (about half of it) stuck to the filter intake, looks like he was eaten, all of him was white, from being in the water, i guess, the remaining guppy is hiding, so I think maybe there was a bit of bullying going on in the tank.
