Do mollies make good feeders?

I have a friend who breeds/sells mollies. He told me that they make excellent feeders and has offered me a good price on a dozen or so in order to start my own breeder tank.
Have any of you guys ever used mollies as feeders?
Can anyone tell me any other fish that might make good feeders?
Other than guppies that is.
I have an 8" clown knife that eats just about anything but I like to give him(?) feeders once in a while. I just won't buy them from any lfs.

I don't see why you couldn't feed the fry to fish... however, adult mollies can have very bad tempers (mine do). So I'd be careful about using them.
