What are these? worms?

Most worms in a SW tank aren't bad so I'd not worry too much. I've not seen thin brown ones before so not sure what they could be without a photo.
As Grins said, without a photo theres not much point in trying to ID it by descriptions, so many species to pick from. As such, might you find a family group that yours fits within my hitch hiker pages.
