has eny one seen a snail with a glass like shell??

i have found a ramshorn snail in 1 of my tanks with a complete glass like shell.

will try and get some pics of it tomorrow. have put it in a breeder for now and wait till lights are on to take some snaps.
 
hmmm, not sure what you mean...like a completely clear shell? What color is the body of the snail? I look forward to seeing the pics.
 
yes like a complete clear shell. it has a red body would love to share pics now but dont want to scare any tank inhabitants will post some in the morning.
 
I have very transparent ones with orange bodies as well. Not quite clear, but tinted.
 
Maybe it needs some calcium. Squish it with your fingers and find out how brittle it is.

all my snails are very well fed on a calcium diet so to speak . like am gona squish an amazing find lol.
 
OK OK no squishing. Poke it with a needle.;)

I would like to see a pic of it.
