which package to chose

It depends a little on what type of tank you are setting up (lighting, Co2, ferts?), but its hard to tell as they dont give you a defined list of what you would get...which I personally wouldnt like. I would much rather pick and choose what I am getting...but definitely get a lower amount, you wont need much to start the tank.

:iagree: It really helps to know what kind of lighting they need. I have gotten plants from them a few times with no problems. A couple of plants didn't look so good when they arrived but once in the tank they were fine.

just my 2 cents.......

make up your own package! you can most likely save yourself some money if you get plants on here I know Mgamer20o0 has some of the best low light plants money can buy on here..just ask well anyone lol..also sometimes people have extra plants/clippings they need to get rid of.

finally you need be a little bit more specfic as to what exactly you are looking for these plants to "do" do you want a heavy planted tank? Do you want to do clippings every month? etc. etc.
