help with planting

Most of those plants will grow in a low tech tank, but about a third of them won't look their best unless you have them in a high light, co2 added aquarium.

The Rotala Indica, Corkscrew Val, and Bacopa are what I am specifically refering to. They will grow in a nice 1 wpg tank, but they'd look better with a little higher ligthing and some co2.

Edit:

I'm not familiar with Red Temple, but if it's indeed red, then I'd worry about that and the Nesaea losing their red color in a low light/no iron supplementation environment.

Most of the plants will do fine in about 2 wpg. The Rubin like more light but should be OK, if possible have him do the Ozelot. I doubt the nesaea would work, so ask him not to include that. The other stems will be Ok at 2 wpg or so as will the val.

The anubias may need to be shaded to avoid algae on it.

mailman...I run a 20 gallon long and have 3.2 wpg. thus...

I use 65 watts of lighting and my plants are doing just fine. If you have a 60 gallon, well, that's quite a lot of plants on that list!
I'm thinking you might need a bit more light for your tank. I'm still a newbie, but I think to keep some of those plants going well, 2 to 3 wpg is good. So thus, you might need 120 watts of lighting! (2 watts per gallon) for your 60 gallon tank.

Hope this helps!
