Okay, so I got a small (azoo) powerhead for my 20 gallon so that I have more flow. What I have is as follows
20 gallon
Rena 55 filter
heavily planted
CO2 canister being fed in for the plants
3 corys
3 cherry barbs
1 german blue ram
8 cardinals

I know I can get a bamboo (flower) shrimp. Any other shrimp safe with this population? I am not too interested in snails at the moment and although I would love crayfish I understand that won't work with my fish (if I am wrong please let me know).

i would get the bigger shrimp most of the small cherry shrimp yellow snowballs crs will become lunch. Filter Feeding Shrimp like Vampire Shrimp or the bamboo

Thanks - confirms what I thought. I give them enough - they don't need any extra lunches.

you could get the little dwarf crayfish.

Will my german blue ram eat them or harrass them? Or will the dwarf bother my cories?

craws can and would eat fish if they catch them from what i have read.....

I hear more stories of "dwarfs" being fine. But Ive had a few full grown crays and they anihilate the plants and uproot them and happily catch sleeping fish lol.
