Hi, I have had a female axy for around 12 months now. Her name is Mippy.
I use soft filtered water, and harden it a little with shell grit.

I change around 1/3 of the water every week, and I feed her a combination of dried blood worms and some sinking protein pellets.
I keep the tank clean.

my kH is currently around 50ppm (or 3dH)
my pH is around 7.5
There is no measurable ammonia.

Recently I have noticed little lines (around half the size of a nose hair) around the tank, which do not vacuum up easily. Today I have noticed tiny worms (about the same size) squiggling around in the tank.

What are these? are these a danger to my Mippy?
Any suggestions welcome.

Hi welcome to AC! sounds like planaria, increase the frequency of your gravel vacs and decrease feedings to help rid your tank of them. Good luck, hope you enjoy the site!
