my dad only went and got my what i can only recognise as a blue spiny lobster..........or something from species.....

being grateful, i was all WOW!!

i hate the mofo! i cant sit in peace!! i swear hes tryna get out, and i dont like the look of it!!

hes going in the morning, question is...

hes getting very frisky near the surface......making me BOLT!

theres about 6 inches from the surface to the top of the tank.....

will he be able to get over this hurdle? my tank open top so...dum dum dum!!

also, will he just die if he leaves the water, or can he stalk us!! he does a whole butt shakin movement from bottom to top of tank...VERY QUICKY

One of my hermits does this occasionally (made it up to the trim with about an inch above water), and every time he's fell back in... I wouldn't be worried about him coming after you in the night, even if he does... I'm pretty sure you can defend yourself LOL. He shouldn't die if he leaves the water, since he'll have to hold himself up, he should eventually pass out (or something along the lines of that) and fall back in. Of course if he makes it out of the tank it's a different story.

u and me both, every time he leaves the live rock im glued to him, switch the light on, ring the alarm bells lol!! its 1.32AM, leaving the smallest time between me going to bed, and the mrs gettin up, he needs constant observation......them horns.....why is my rock so high all of a sudden....he can climb powerhead cables too..

Lol..Electric fence around the top of the aquarium..lol.I got on here to see what was new with this topic and got creeped out again so much so that I took my trusty pen light and made a sweep of both tanks..lol

well, he had 2 nights in there, reef safe with caution was the instructions attached.....i watched for abit last night as he got attacked by the torch coral, so went on to remove the finger coral from the live rock, removed crabs from thier shells and pull fluffy mushrooms apart. attempting to escape is now the last of my probs.......little beggers gota go now!!

Lol.I don't think with all the fun he is having in your tank he wonts escape now.Sounds like he is destroying your tank in record time,,I would send him packing myself..lol
