So I went and got 3 little cories yesterday to add to the 14g with my betta, thought I'd post a pic so you can see them. Also any tips on them would be great as I really do not know much about these little guys..they are cute though and LOVE the algae waffers I have found out!!

LOL, also I am thinking the betta needs a good Amish name..when he flairs he looks like he has a Amish beard....

Those are cute little guys. Ask an expert, but make sure they aren't a breed that grows to 3 or 4 inches.

Mine like to hide out sometimes under leaves or something. They will occasionally pop to the surface for air.

They're nice! Bronze cories (corydoras aeneus) get about 2.5" long at the most, so you don't have to worry. Ogre is probably thinking of brochis. If you can, pick up 2 or 3 more. They're much more active & playful with a larger group.
 
Those look like regular c. aeneus, so you should be fine. You might want to get 2-3 more, since they're happiest in a school, and maybe a plant of a cave for them to hide under.
 
If you are wondering what to feed them, mine love Omega One shrimp pellets, HBH Super Soft with spirulina and the one with krill, Hikari sinking wafers, and Hikari algae wafers. They also love most frozen foods, they will eat Tubifex and mysis shrimp so far...still need to get some frozenblood worms for them. I will probably try some live food in the future, I like to watch them attack the Tubifex quickly...can't wait to see what they would do with live food.

I agree with DP & Irish.

With the "gravel" you have it will be important to do good gravel vacs. Larger diameter, smooth stone tends to allow larger pieces to fall into them where they can't be eaten.
