i cant beleive this, :omg:it's my discus first sprawn, and the pair is just formed about a week only, and i think the sprawn was last night!
and sorry i'll post pics latter!!!

but still i dont count on this sprawn
oh and i have a question, how can i remove the other without stress the pair ?

will they guard the eggs and young? if so i would just leave them in the tank.

it happens.....
Once they spawn...they will probably spawn again...no worries
yeah, but now i neeed a tank, a bigger tank ,if the fry survide

nice discus....when i kept discus the eggs used to always go white and then they would eat them....good luck!

they'll probably eat the first few batches until they get everything going right.

I have a pair a Marlboro and a blue turk that have been spawning every week they have gotten to the free swimming twice but that it I have finally gotten a 37 to the same water as they are in now and will be moving them tomorrow. I think it will take them 2 - 3 month to spawn after that but will be able to raise their spawns with out them being eaten as they do not protect there spawns like angels do.

i hope they will learn,
and guess what, a pair of ram in the same tank just spawned! this is going to be good, but i'll continue working on the 55 gal so i could add the fish in fast.

how long does it take to kill the snails....
it's almost a week, and the snails start to die in 3 hours after the chemical is added

still have plants in there?
not much, i'll try to save them, but if they all die, i'll wait till summer to start a brand new planted tank, for now i'll slowly collecting the stuffs i 'll need .

why not take them all out and drain the tank that should kill them. then add the chems to a little bag with the plants.
well now i have a bb tank and i might,just a little 1% chance to save the plants that maybe able to survide, and like i said i'll keeping a bb 55 gal just for now, and then i'll fix it to a planted tank ins ummer when i got all of the things i needs
and right now, it's ram pairvs discus pair, let think about who'll win

get a small tank and a cfl and stash it in your room lol
hum the only time i am able to have a small tank in my room is during summer

in the pic, they are glazing at the eggs , and say um hey look tasty, do i want to eat them or no. we can laid another batch, oh well let's eat them and 1 hour latter they are gone
they are about to move bac to their 55 gal, now is very ugly looking cause it's bare bottom!!!!

bb is good keeps the tank clean.
but to me they are ugly , but for now i might keep it bb for a longer period of time, maybe after i save enough money for the stuffs that i'll need and go buy them, draw out a plan, and hopefully i'll have a batch of ababies dsicus by then. lol
