Spoiled brats !! There is so much food, and not one will take the flakes. I can not believe it! they want the tetra crisps, or the HBH soft pellets, but no way will they eat the flakes :( OYE sooooo much food, such a waste!

No, I will just stick to feeding what they like. I also give them freeze dried and frozen blood worms and brine shrimp . guess there easy to please. I was just hoping to give them something different in there diet but they are healthy so what the heck .
I will more then likely sell them .

I agree with most of the posts here- as long as the food is suitable for the fish you're feeding, they should eventually eat it. Some of my cichlids are a pain because they'll beg like hell for food, then just spit it out. Make sure they get at least one feed a week of food they like, and shove the new at them most of the rest of the time and they'll learn to recognise most of it eventually- there might be one or two that they'll reject but as you've got 4 tanks it might well be a different food that each tank rejects.

Thanks all, if I can get them to eat it I will, if not I will sell or trade it all for something :)

I think you got conned into a "bargin buy" on cheap food.

what? :silly:

I bought from a person on Aquabid...

How do you know its cheap food?

Just because it was an aqua bid doesn't mean it is good food. The fact that your fish won't eat it kind of defines it for cheap to me, though there could just be issues of getting your fish to switch over.

I tried that stuff and do not care for it. I am sure they have some perfectly satisfied customers...just not for me and was stating my opinion.

I am going to try to get them hungry and try the foods again. I know the problem is I always spoil them and of course they want the foods they have always had. like kids some times they hate change. I have not tried every food I bought yet :)

I just want to ensure everyone understands that my point of view has nothing to do with what the OP stated.

It is based on my experience with the food mentioned, even though I know many people who are satisfied with it.

Any new food introduction may take a considerable amount of time.

I prefer to buy small amounts and see results before buying large quantities, regardless of the price.

Rb your right, I did go over board and bought way to much food. I sent some off to a friend in Kentucky who is just starting her tank again afer me telling her about my tanks.
I also opened a new bag this morning, "veggie crisps" and the corys went wild over it! I was so glad since I had hoped someone whould eat the massive foods I got. I am also realizing I over fed, yep me silly me over fed way to much and there for my fish were happy, but my cleaning the tanks every few days tired me out. I am only feeding 1 time a day now. ( except the baby fry) Thank you all for your help, and thank you RB :)
