ok...im getting a 125 gal tank and right now i have a 55 gal tank and this is the tank mates...two pleco, one green terror, one irredecent shark, one leporanis (i think thats the spelling) and one convict. the kids brought home a tetra at the end of school two years ago and its still there....shock me and the greet terror had a baby....with who im not sure...probably the convict...lol. now my question is...they have all lived together two plus years and get along very well...shockingly...but if i get another bigger tank can i add more fish for there will be more space. they are all fairly good size...the pleco especially....but what could i put with them to make sure noone gets hurt....any advice will be appreciated.

I wouldn't add anything. While the tank may be bigger, the fish you currently have will quickly grow to fill up the new space.

I agree, especially with two plecos

Get a crawdad! He will only catch the slow ones! In reality, my crawdad hasn't caught 1 fish in 8 months. All he eats is flake and frozen food. They are a very interesting addition to a tank.

depending on the size of your GT and the crawdad, the crawdad will end up being lunch. MY gt gobbles down ghost shrimp like they are going out of style. and he is only 5" when he gets to be like 10" he would munch just about any crayfish.

this thread shows what your crawfish will be in store for

thanks you guys...you have been such a help. my green terror is about six and a half maybe seven inches big...he is so beautiful. i am getting the tank because of him mostly. and the fact that i read that irredecent sharks should not be in captivity. so a bigger place would have to be better for him. it seems like a 55 gallon is mean. so i figure go bigger. i also have a question for you guys...can a green terror and a convict have babies...i have a baby in the tank, and it looks like both of them. someone reproduced and the baby is the only survivor. out of hundreds....i had no new fish that could have been preg. at the time they were born. so i ruled that out.

I had a female convict in with my green terror for a while. She adored him. constantly courting him, flaring at him, nipping at him. She even nipped his dorsal fin and messed up his "saum" . It was obvious that she was frustrated with his inattention. So I did like you and upgraded to a 100 gallon and slapped the horny b*tch in my old 55 and gave her a boyfriend. Now I have a great looking tank that I got a good deal on for showing my GT and I have a pair of cons that will give me disease free cost effective feeders.

yea post them and we can help u more, but u could add some giant danios or sumthing but i wouldnt add too much most of thoise fish in there get to be fairly good size and as the GT grows up more he may get more aggressive and start kilijg stuff but he may not since hes 6.5" already.
