OK, so yesterday our power went out for like a minute. I don't know, we overloaded the breaker or something. Hubby went out and flicked it and it came back. When it came back on, apparently the front half of one of my Koralia's was loose and got blown right off. We put it back together and it started making a buzzing noise periodically. It's been doing it all day and it's driving me nuts! I took it apart and cleaned it thoroughly and put it back together and I can't see any reason for this. It's plugged into a surge protector and the other two are plugged into the same one, and they're not buzzing.

Any ideas?

Really hard to tell without actually hearing it. They all have funky bearings and if the bearings got garfed in the blow up then the dang thing may never stop 'buzzing'. Did you actually pull the rotor shaft out? Not sure you can with those.

did you try to shake it off under the water?

Fiddle with the lead to it. Mine sometimes do it. It seems they tend to vibrate where the lead catches the tank. Saying that it could be a faulty one. I've replaced 3 Koralia 4's and 1 Koralia 1.
