I have a 110 gallon heavily planted tank that I set up a few weeks ago. I just noticed a white worm on one of my plants, inching his way up to my driftwood. I took him out but I'm worried. I'm new to plants and know that snails are normal to get, but what about worms? Is that a bad sign? Anything I should do? I didn't see anymore. Please help......I'm kinda grossed.

Worms are one of the more uncommon finds when it comes to hitchhikers, but not impossible. They will reproduce if you end up overfeeding, but most fish will just eat them anyway. So there's no need to worry :-) if you don't like them, remove what you can see and the rest (if any) will be fish food.

Good to know. So far I only have 3 cardinal tetras because I'm cycling. They're very small so I don't think they'd eat it. Hopefully I won't find anymore.

If you notice more, reduce your feeding and up your gravel vacs/water changes. This will help to remove their food source.
