Does anyones weather loach do this?

On the filter there is a middle intake and one of the weather loaches will swim behind it and let him self get attached. There is nothing wrong with him..well maybe mentally but he just does that sometimes. Anyone else's weather loach do that?
 
haha, loaches sure are odd creatures.....but thats what makes em so fun.

Do you have any pvc tubes or other hiding places in the tank? I think it might be looking for a place to chill out.
 
I did but I recently took them out. I heard PVP would put chemicals in the water. They have been up rooting all the plants. About half of them are gone and I haven't got to reburying them. I will put the PVC pipe back in. I was thinking of using fishing weights to hold the plants down but they all seem to made with led and have warnings on the back.
 
Keeping plants can be tough with weather loaches....but what can you do about it. Perhaps you could use real string and tie the plants to a rock or something?
