interesting... I always knew AMD to run a fair bit cooler than Pentium, what kind of cooling do you have on it?

I have this fan on it. very nice. http://www.thermaltake.com/product/cooler/retail/cl-p0257/cl-p0257.asp I think i do need to get some better thermal compound though. and yes the amd do run cool except for the winsdor core which runs on a 125 watt TDP. SO FOR IT IT RUNS A LITTLE HOT.

Just out of curiousity, why'd you stick with AMD?

WHAT!! Where is the liquid cooling system with remote mounted radiator and cooling fan? Overclock the heck outta that AMD and liquid cool it!!

I have built every computer I have ever owned, except for my laptops, and have always run AMD's..

I think it might be time to build another!!

1 you can't beat $160 for dual core running at 3.2. And AMD has always performed better for me in gaming. but i may look into the E 8400's for my next build though if i have the money. as you knoww intel is not cheap.
