Regarding Filter Wool

Hi Friends !

My wife bought some Stuffing like thing in bags to make soft toys. Its very fibery and silk like - smooth - very very soft to touch... I guess its some synthetic material but I'm not sure...
Just wanted to know if I can use this stuff as a filter medium in my Filters ? Kindly advice...

if its the polyester stuffing it should be just fine. I use it in place of micron polishing pads in my canister filters. It can clog quickly, so keep an eye on the flow from your filter.
