I have four female bettas and one is very round. I wonder if she has eggs in her. If she does, what will happen now? I am not going to breed her. Will the female produce eggs if not paired with a male? Will she expel the eggs or absorb them? She is a white female with blue fins and you can see where she is very round she has a big white area there. I think I read somewhere that betta eggs are white. That is why I am thinking she might have eggs in her. Any advice or suggestions? Thank you.

Yes a betta in good condition will produce eggs. I don't remember whether they expel them or re-absorb them but I don't know they are OK if you do not breed them.

is there a male in the tank. ?? if so the male will buid a bubble nest and care for them until they hatch --- and then prob eat them!! they do produce eggs if conditions are right my guess is that she will prob absorb them if not paired

I do have males but they are not in with the females. I hope she absorbs them as she looks ready to explode. Poor girl. Thanks for all replies.
