Hi All,
I'm looking for advice on buying a 190 that is for sale in my area, it is full of algae and needs a good cleaning its freshwater;How hard is it to kill algae and how do I clean this monster ?72"X"X". I was thinking of offering 180.00$ how does that sound to you all

$180 for the tank alone? That's reasonable; I think $1/gallon is typical for used tanks.
Algae will come off with a good scrubbing. If the tank is acrylic, be sure to get cleaning pads made for acrylic (most pet stores carry them) to avoid scratches; if it's glass, you can use any dish scrubber or similar, as well as razorblades or glass scrapers for the tough stuff. It helps if you have a little assistant (I'm guessing from your user name that you might have one or two) who can actually get in the tank to reach all the corners.
Then you can go back and wash the insides with hydrogen peroxide or other disinfectant to kill any dormant cells left behind. The advantage of H2O2 is that it leaves no toxic residue.

The Dim of this tank are 72"/70"/19"

If you got the dimensions right, it is over 400 gallons, not 190. At a glance it looked wrong to me because I have never seen a 6 ft square tank. That doesn't mean there is no such thing, I guarantee that I have not seen them all. A 190 that is 20 inches deep would only be about 30 inches front to back.

Your right ,sorry I did not take time to do the calculations. Person selling tank gave me these dimensions. I'm going to check it out today.
