Yeah they are getting along pretty good I am thinking of moving my apisto because I am wanting to breed both ..i love the colors. on all of them

The problem is you really can't mix both. The apistos are at risk being killed once the Africans start establishing their territories. The apistos cannot really defend themselves well enough compared to the Africans.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT THIS IS TOO FUNNY ! I HAVE THIS ONE DANIO THAT WOULD NOT COME OUT OF THE TANK WHEN I WAS CHANGING OVER FROM A COMMUNITY TANK TO A CICHLID TAMK AND HE JUST HANGS OUT WITH THE OTHERS AND THE CICHLIDS HAVE NEVER TRIED TO HARM ANY OF THEM ..IT IS TOO FUNNY HOW THEY ALL INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER ..

The aggression level isn't the only worry here. Apistos are soft water fish, and needing temps in the mid 80's. Africans are hard water fish and needing temps in the upper 70's. There is no way to establish an environment that is healthy for both types of fish in one tank.
Being in the wrong environment causes a lot of internal damage, and is only a slow and agonizing death for the fish. I find nothing funny about this situation, and ask that you please move one group of fish to another tank before they have to die.

Between the aggression issues which are bound to happen soon, no way to avoid that (you have quite a lethal mix in there, especially that kenyi), and the improper environment for one set of fish, wrong temp, and even different food needs... you have a really big mess and leaving it that way would be irresponsible. I do hope you do the right thing.

Nice pics, but I think you need to re-home some of them. It will be best for them.

I have moved the apisto to another tank ..I was thinking about what you all have said and that is the last thing i want to do is hurt any of my fish by all means ..I am tring to catch the dano without trashing my tank and moving him to the comunnity take that has all the others in there..

Thanks for all the advice !!!
