So in planning my big tank....I'm faced with choosing a color to tint the epoxy. I'm leaning towards black. Now this tank could wind up eventually swinging to the salt side as well...much later down the road.

With that...what would be a color to use for both freshwater and saltwater setups?

A nice pink paisley....

Just kidding. Black is a great universal color, so if you're thinking about changing the tank's inhabitants out, it's probably the way to go. If the tank will be the permanent home to some particular community, you could select a color more specific to that community (tannin-brown for a swamp species tank, light grey for a rift-lake cichlid tank, sunny blue for a reef tank, etc.)
