anything i can drop in the tank to see them all come out and feed so i can count them?
something that wont mess my readings up too bad

your standard feedings doesn't bring them out?
try some frozen mysis or brine. that always seems to work for me

word, anything meaty I put in there makes them come out...but very rarely do I ever see them eat food though....

when i feed brine or cyclops them dont come out... my power heads dont let the food hit the ground...
should i turn them off during feedings?

I put a silverside or a piece of krill in the sandbed and they come out and swarm it and make it all slimy but most of it remains just covered in slime and sand see if that works for ya. i think that food is too small( i might be wrong here) but i got the big nass snails, do you have the small black ones or the big ones?

When my system was new and there wasn't build up in the sand for them to feed on they would come out to eat.. Now that the system is established I hardly ever see them any more. About the only time I find them is if I go digging for them. JME
edit: BTW I have the large Tonga Nassarius Snails.

Mine only tend to come out at night especially when I'm target feeding my suncoral.

I only have 3 and I couldn't tell you if they are all still alive. Every few weeks I'll see 1 one the glass at night. That's about it.
