hey all,I just put an ammonia removing pad in my sump and my skimmer went nuts.this thing says its for marine aquariums,should I take this bad boy out or what?I have no idea whats going on.

I'd take it out, yes. Why did you put it in your sump? Did you have a death?

I thought that that is were it goes ,in between the baffles,why is it causing the skimmer to go nuts,thanks for your help

Ive taken this pad out and the skimmer is still going crazy,what should I do?
The skimmer is trying to remove whatever it has in it. I'd turn the skimmer off for now and not add anything else like this pad or any other additives that promise to help speed the cycle up, be a miracle in a bottle or bag, etc.
You don't want ammonia to be removed when you are trying to cycle..you want the bacteria to grow so they can handle ammonia.

Fully agree, you need the ammonia to kick off the cycle. If you dont every time you add something it will cause a mini cycle which can cause even more problems. Are you using live rock? Is it cured or uncured? How old is the tank? What is the tank size? What are all your params at present?
