schooling?

err... my shrimps swim around the perimeter of my tank, sort of like they're schooling. its really weird. i'll have like 20 shrimp swim left to right on my tank one after the other, and another 20 or so go the other way. I have never seen them do this so i was wondering if it was natural?

I only notice that sort of "hyperactivity" when the shrimp are hungry.

hm. maybe the snails are eating all the food i throw down. i'll try feeding, thanks!

when feeding i have to put in food in more than one spot because there are so many they can't even make it to the food
