:help: Originally I purchased 1 Rainbow Shark,6 Platies and 2 Plecos. One of the Platy's died and I replaced it. When I got home the Rainbow shark also died!!! THe whole day it was hiding under the Driftwood. My parameters are as follows.
Ammonia-.15 (treating with ammo lock, also did 10%water change)
Nitrite-0
Nitrate-0
Ph-8.0 (tomorrow I'm getting PH down)

:help:

You are just starting out in the fishy cycle. Do much larger water changes in the magnitude of 80% or so anytime you see any ammonia or nitrite. Your pH is fine DO NOT MESS WITH IT!!!. Adjusting the pH will severely stress your fish.

BTW if you just add another message to one of your previous threads it is much easier for us to track down what you are doing.

I wouldn't use the ammo-lock just do water changes. The best pH is a stable one. If your LFS is nearby most likely it will be using the same pH in there tanks.

Ok, isnt that a little high though?

I plan on doing one every 3days.

Should I be using prime when I put the water back in?
