so i picked up my new midas blenny on saturday! im so happy because this is the one fish that i knew i wanted when i upgraded my tank from the 37g to the 75g. apparently however, my clowns are not as excited as i am. they literally have the fish imprisoned in the LR. im not kidding or exaggerating here, the blenny has gone into a hole next to my RBTA and the clowns will not let it come out. they seriously stay in the nem and watch the hole in the rock where the blenny is and when it pops it's head out they go over (mainly the female) and head butt it back in the hole. the blenny is eating, it pops it's head out when the clowns are eating and just grabs at food that passes by. but i've literally only seen it's head and gills. i assume that the clowns will calm down at some point but these clowns are pretty crazy fish that really have nothing better to do with their time than hang out in their nem (all day) and stare at the hole where the blenny is. i feel really bad for it! and i feel really dumb because i released the fish on that side of the tank in the back (dumb dumb dumb) right by the nem. so there's this big tank out there with all this nice holey rock for the blenny to hide in that is away from the clowns that he can't get to. i don't think there is anything i can do about it but i just needed to vent a bit and have you all tell me it will be ok......
