I wonder if someone could tell me if I have too many fish in my 55 gallon planted tank? I now have 9 barbs (3 green,3 albino,3tiger) along with 6 cories,1 red tailed shark, and recently added 2 little rubberlip plecos. Am I maxed out? The reason being is I would love to add 3 black ruby barbs and shut the book so to speak. What do you pros think?:help:

Your stock is fine. An additional 3 is not a problem.:)

The shark Jeanne has doesn't eat other fish. They can get aggressive but I highly doubt they're an issue in a tank that size.

i would be more worried about the rubberlip plecos...they tend to be pretty territorial with their species, especially around feeding time.

why not add some more tiger barbs instead of ruby barbs?
