So i put about 12 pounds of live rock in my nano last week, and just today i found an odd little worm.

i'll try to get some pics up tonight, but;

it's a smooth bodied worm like thing, about 1/8 inch in diameter, and 3+ (one end was coming out of a hole in the rock) completely black, except for 4-5 white dots about an 1/8th inch from the exposed end.

At first it reminded me of a leach, because it's body streched and shrunk as it moved, but it's completely round in cross section, and all the leaches i've seen are somewhat flat.

any help would be great, and i'll try to have some pics up tonight.

aye..

That worm will be a notospermus SP. or commonly known as a ribbon worm, safe to keep in the tank....
