I saw some little guys today in my LFS but without any aneonmes. I dont know anything else about them besides they carry them in the wild. Would they be ok in a reef tank (When I move the octo out), and if so is there anything special about their requirements or basically the same as most crabs?

Yes, it would be fine...They are a peacefull crab to have...As it goes, if there are no nems with it at the store, it wont have any again....Nothing special reagarding habitat or feeding..Feed it meaty foods like mysis etc etc...
When these have the nems attached, they can sometimes cause a problem as the nems can sting corals....
