I would like his address so I can swipe some of those mushrooms lol.

Send my appreciation for the very nice looking tank (and especially the lunare wrasse, appears like it's a red sea coloration) to your neighbor.

Wonderful tank! I wish someone on my block kept a reef. I know no one does because I don't see that "alien glow" like the one that emits from my bedroom window due to the reef lights. My house is known as the one with the purple window.

LOL, I hear you. When I say "neighbor", let me describe a little. We live in a house with a basement. The basement was sealed off/remodeled into a 2 bedroom "apartment". I live upstairs and a couple lives downstairs.

When I moved in I had just gotten out of SW/Puffer Fish and wanted to take a little break from fish tanks. Well, the neighbor saw my 55G empty and wanted to have a tank. I explained to him and his girlfriend the work required for FW/SW/Reef and of course he wanted reef. Well, I hadn't had experience myself with reef tanks, just FW/SW fish. The neighbor really isn't one to do any research at all, actually doesn't even use a computer. So he setup the 55G as a reef tank and had all the typical algae/red slime problems most people have, and it was me always looking up to reasons and solutions to his problem. Since I still had my 29G tank I decided since I am doing all the research I might as well set up a reef tank myself. He upgraded to a 75G about a year later, but I am still on my original 29G I bought back in 1994. I am buying a new custom 57G tank on Monday though, so I am finally upgrading after just about 6 years doing a reef tank.

Nice tank!

Very nice!
