She is a Blue Turqouise. She quite a bit larger than the other discus I have in my tank I would say at least an inch bigger around. Is there any chance the others will eventually match her size? Also, determining which is female or male I am totally confused which is which. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the info. I have heard that sometimes some discus that are female will mimic a male is this true? Mine have laid eggs at least three times. Another question I noticed by your picture that you have the long grass are they real? And if they are what are you doing to keep them green and looking good? My plants other than them are doing good.

I read somewhere that you could tell by there fins males are pointed and females are rounded.

Unfortunately with discus there is no definete way to tell till they decide to lay eggs.Sometimes the fin theory works out but it isnt a for sure id.There are a lot of other ideas about this too but they arent a positive id either.

Thanks for the information. I have something similar grassy like but they aren't doing so well. What can I do to help it? From what I was told it is good with warmer water etc.
