Anyone have any experiences with these little buggers? My friends breeds them and offered me a bunch along with a few snails for my tank.

they're nice little guys to have but they often get eaten. not much bioload and fun to watch.

They're great.
Entertaining to watch, don't cause issues (very often, every once in a while anything will cause issues) and have a very low bioload.
I'd get some.

whatre you putting them in with? many fish find ghost shrimp to be a nice snack.

Well he has 1000's or so he says. I was gonna get like 100 or so and add to my just established 50g heavy planted tank. 5 tiger barbs and a clown loach. I know the barbs and loach may eat them but i'm guessing with the amount of plants they can find some places to hide and flourish.
