What are the basics...

I plan on keeping Africans, I already have the tank in my signature. Regardless of what I am keeping though, what do I need. The reason I ask is so I don't forget anything.

- 3-4 10g tanks for fry
- 2 20g for grow out
- 2 20g? for quarantine
-50ft python syphon kit
-several buckets
-industrial pump for air to each tank
-testing kits?
-medications?

I plan to use industrial shelving (ie. gorilla racks) for holding the tanks.

I plan on 2 75g's for breeding colonies. Maybe a 55g for a tropheus single sp. breeding colony.

What do you think? Please add to this list so I don't miss anything.

Medicines:
Maracyn
Maracyn 2
Melafix
Levamisole Hydrochloride/Flubendazole
Table salt
Jungle Fungus Eliminator

Test kits:
Obviously, these are needed. Ammonia, nitrites, nitrates and pH are pretty basic and most important.

Battery-operated airpumps for emergencies, most particularly power outages. Take note that the cichlids you have there are heavy oxygen consumers.

Thermometer
Heaters
Spare filters and other equipments in case some are defective.
