About three months ago I bought a piece of live rock and was pleasently suprised when I noticed what looked to be a coral. At the time I discovered it it was only about the size of a silver dollar. It has since taken off and is really quite beautiful and has more than tripled in size. On problem is, I have no idea what kind of coral it is.
One photo is of my tank (75 gallons). I'm going to do some demolition this weekend and totally rework the rock structure (see my thread about rock structure options). The other two photos are of the soft coral I'm asking for help identifying.
I just picked up a new piece of live rock tonight because I spotted a soft coral attached to it, a different kind then the one I have. I'm really excited to score some freebie corals. I'll post a picture of that one when I get around to taking it later this week as I'll need help identifying that one as well.
Thanks for the help fellow aquarists. Have a good night:headbang2:
