View Full Version : Moving Baby Angels

I have had the fortunate luck of being able to raise eight baby angels. They are currently in a 10 gallon tank and are about 2 1/2 months old. They don't seem to be growing very fast and I know they don't grow fast. They are about the size of a dime but not quite.
I figured they would need a little more room so I went out and got a 20 long and now have the water parameters the same as the 10.
Now here comes the problem. How do I successfully move the babies without stressing them? Or would you move them at all? I would hate to hurt them in any way. I have grown so attached to them. It is going to be so hard to give them away when it is time.

I have enclosed a couple of pictures first is the 10 and then the 20L. If you look close at the 10 on the right side you can see some babies.

All help is very appreciated!

I would lower the water level to about 3", then using a plastic container, such as a tupperware bowl, trap them and move them over.
