Just picked up some frags from a reef club member that was tearing down his tank. Picked up everything in the pictures for $50.

Blue speckled zoas I think

What the heck! How does this happen? I have heard you all talking about getting stuff through reef clubs but walk me through this process. That is an amazing amount of (beautiful) stuff for really cheap!

Click this Link (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=80) for the general Reef Club page over at Reefcentral.com and search for your area.

Ya, just in the last few months I have found some killer deals. All this time I have been spending full price at my LFS for my corals, now I have more than doubled my corals from reef club members for less than the price of 2 corals from a LFS.

I've gotten some good deals and trades with people in my reef club too. Love it! That is a gorgeous clam Ace! Excellent find! There are tons of people selling corals on the board for my club right now, but I've got to save my pennies for a light, skimmer and pumps for my new tank we're trying to get set up.

Ya, I wasn't really looking for a clam but this one was healthy and small, which you don't see too often at a LFS. He said he had it around 6 months and he got it off another reef club member. I was looking more for his zoas and mushrooms. He has like 40 nice green Yuma rics but all on one big rock. He says its mine for $40 with the rock when he tears down the tank completely. The rock itself is worth about that much by itself. Between me and 2 other club members we were like vultures and stripped everything that wasn't on a large support rock. He had some nice acans, pagoda cup, SPS frags.. but someone else beat me to those.

One more pic of the clam. ;)

Great deal! I have those same orange zoas, slow growers but I love them. The blue ones remind me of my pink palys.
