Sorry no pics, my camera doesn't do pictures this small. But it's So cool to see these itty bitty snails everywhere that I know I didn't put in there! I mean, it tells me I must be doing something right, if the snails are happy enough to make babies and the babies are actually hatching! I'm not sure what type some of them are, but I know I saw one keyhole limpet baby.

Oh and as for lovin going on in my tank, I *think* my female yellowhead sleeper goby dropped some eggs this morning, but unfortunately, my Angel was following right behind her and ate them up as they came out. But it's nice to know they're happy!

Just wanted to share!

So, 6 months ago if someone said you would be excited to see baby snails hatching and living in your home would you have believed them? LOL. Did you see the eggs layed on the glass or did they just come out of nowhere? I have seen snails lay eggs all over the glass before but usually the fish/inverts eat them up quickly.

the only eggs I see on the glass are the little white dots that I *think* are nerite eggs, which I know won't hatch. But I went to the reef club meeting yesterday morning and the talk was on fish breeding and it looked like the eggs could also belong to my blue green chromis, so who knows.

Hmmm, 6 months ago yeah, I think I'd have been excited about baby snails because they'd have been in my FW tanks and I love inverts! And to have baby snails in a marine tank?! I think that's awesome because for me, it's a gauge on how good of a job I'm doing as a marine fish & inverts mommy! :grinyes:

Note to self: pick nerite snails over others.
