White spot on Discus fin

I just noticed a white spot on the edge of one of my Discus back fins and is real listless but still eats: real small, should I be concerned or not? None of my other fish have it. When should I start a healing process? Salt, meds or what? Any advice would be appreciated.

All I can tell you is that they do get them from time to time. May even disappear and return in the same place, repeatedly. I've seen this posted over at Simply and no one seems to know what causes it, but it seems to be nothing to worry about. Keep up with your water changes.

One of my discus had the same thing you described for the first month or so I had him. The white spot has since disappeared, and no meds were used. Just kept the water clean and kept 'em eating healthy. :)

I was considering meds if necessary. White spots on gill of Blood Pigion female. Same thing?
