I bought this guy as a clown pleco, but an oddball color morph.. Instead of brown/creme, he's black/white. The photo washes it out a bit, but those bands are pure white and the black is REALLY black..

Anyone got a better ID for it than "oddball clown"?

His pelvic fins look much too elongated for Panaque maccus- the eyes and body shape also look wrong, but I can't tell if the pictures being ditsorted by the glass at all.
 
Very interesting, because they shop I got him at said he was collected in the Orinoco river, and that's listed with the L129. If that's really him, then great cuz I like small plecs (planted tank)..
 
I've got a few more at home. I'll try to post them tonight.
