Say hello to Blowy the Pleco Poomaster

Hi all - my tank cycled with the help of filter media, water and gravel bags from my old tank - tested the water and all is looking good.

So my favourite son, Blowy the Gibbiceps is in his new home. He has been in the tank 24hrs and he's covered the place in poo! I have plenty of water flow heading towards the filter inlet (fluval 305) - but his poo is just too big.

I have a vacuum on order

LOL, and the light colored sand hi lights his poo nicely, lol. Great fish though

The sand really highlights how big a bioload sailfin plecs produce. Mine's just as bad, but the gravel hides it a bit!

Wow! May I ask how long it took to deposit all that poo; a day, week ?

edit: never mind, you said 24 hours....WOW! Scratch pleco's from my stocking list, LOL.
