I lost a bamboo shrimp after it molted. No injuries from fish. Now another one molted and looks like it is barely hanging on. My tank is heavily planted. It is a 20 gallon with peaceful fish. Anything I can do to make the molt less stressful so they survive?

It's my first time with shrimp and I started with 3. One died and the other is hanging. Am I doing something wrong???

they need water current with particles of food in the water. they filter algae and such. try using a turkey baster to feed them crushed food to their fans.

I feed Rotifer to them a few times a week and they do seem to fan. I have a current in there and I have 2 cherry barbs, 8 card. tetras, 3 corys and a GBR. Oh, a small Gardner killie also. I never see the fish bother the shrimp.

I put crushed food in also. Should I have been doing the food daily??

This is a common problem I was advised to use a iodine for salt water 1 or 2 drops per 10g every 2 weeks
Seems to work have not lost one since

How small is the killifish? What about the ram? It's possible that they will also attack the shrimps without you looking at the scenarios.

Killifish male is the size of a cardinal. The female is smaller. The GBR seems like he hasn't bothered them - maybe I've just never seen it but the shrimp don't seemed to hide or be stressed.
